 Ingredients:

 For the Shrimp Scampi:

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

- 4 tablespoons butter

- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/2 cup chicken broth

- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

- Salt and pepper to taste


 For the White Sauce:

- 4 tablespoons butter

- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

- 4 cups milk

- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- Salt and pepper to taste


 For Assembly:

- 12 lasagna noodles, cooked

- 2 cups ricotta cheese

- 1 egg

- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


 Instructions:

 1. Preheat Oven

Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's ready for baking your lasagna to golden perfection.

 2. Prepare the Shrimp Scampi

- In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

- Add the minced garlic and sauté until it becomes fragrant.

- Toss in the shrimp, cooking them until they turn pink and opaque, which should take about 3-4 minutes.

- Stir in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and freshly chopped parsley.

- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, then set the shrimp scampi aside.

 3. Make the White Sauce

- In a separate pan, melt another 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

- Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to form a roux.

- Gradually whisk in the milk, allowing the sauce to thicken as it simmers.

- Once thickened, mix in the Parmesan cheese, ground nutmeg, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

 4. Prepare the Ricotta Mixture

- In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese and the egg, mixing until smooth. This will be the creamy layer in your lasagna.

 5. Assemble the Lasagna

- Begin by spreading a layer of the white sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.

- Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by the ricotta mixture, shrimp scampi, and a bit more white sauce.

- Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

 6. Bake the Lasagna

- Place the assembled lasagna into the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese on top is golden and bubbly.

 7. Serve and Enjoy

- Let the lasagna cool slightly before cutting.
